Contract awarded for the design and construction of 2no. Balance Tanks 13.7Ml in capacity. The Balance Tanks are 38.7mtr diameter, 13.2mtr high circular post-tensioned concrete structures consisting of an in-situ concrete ring beam and base slab, with precast concrete wall panels tied together with in-situ stitches completed by a structural steel roof structure. Our detailed scope of work included for the supply and installation of all underground MSCL piping to the tank areas, ground preparation works to tank bases, supply and placement of in-situ ring beams and base slabs. The manufacture, delivery and install of precast wall panels, supply and installation of formwork to the in-situ concrete stitches, carry out post-tensioning works to tank walls and supply and erect the structural steel roof and sheeting.
