D&Z scope of works and responsibility is to supply all the labour including supply of reinforcement, craneage, plant and machinery to complete the civil works. The overall scope comprised of labour to do all detailed excavations/backfill to the fdtns, place and finish concrete to bases, columns/walls and ground slabs, fix/erect and strip formwork, fixing/placing cast-ins and fixing of reinforcement. Designing of the formwork system to walls/in-situ columns offered a degree of difficulty as these were integrated, coupled with the methodology for the concrete pour. These civil work were constructed within the live operating treatment plant while maintaining a very high standard of safety and workmanship quality on site.
